Dr. Kerry Doolin

Dr Kerry Doolin is a Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care with over 20 years of experience working in referral and emergency hospitals across Australia and the United Kingdom. She began her ECC career in North Shore Vet Hospital as an OOH vet before undertaking advanced postgraduate training overseas, completing specialty ECC Internship at the University of California, Davis, followed by an Emergency and Critical Care residency at the Royal Veterinary College in London. After working in specialist referral hospitals in the UK, she returned to Australia to continue specialist practice and developed the ICU back at North Shore Vet Hospital.

Kerry has extensive experience managing critically ill and injured patients, with particular interests in mechanical ventilation, shock, trauma and transfusion medicine. At North Shore Veterinary Hospital, she leads the Emergency and Critical Care service and is closely involved in ICU development, clinical standards, and staff training.

She enjoys teaching and mentoring veterinarians and nurses, with a strong focus on practical, compassionate care for both patients and their families.

Outside of work, Kerry is owned by a pug called Homer.
