Dr Raquel del Solar Bravo

DVM, MRCVS, EBVS®, Dipl. ECVIM-CA

Raquel graduated in Veterinary Medicine in Madrid (Spain) in 2013. She went on to complete two rotating internships in Spain before moving to the United Kingdom, where she worked as a general practitioner for a year and then undertook an internship in Internal Medicine.

Following this, Raquel completed a residency in Internal Medicine accredited by the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM) at Southfields Veterinary Specialists, a private referral hospital in England. She became a Diplomate in Small Animal Internal Medicine (Dipl. ECVIM-CA) obtaining her European Specialist title in Internal Medicine (EBVS®) in 2023.

Raquel subsequently worked as an Internal Medicine Clinician in hospitals in the UK and Spain. In August 2025, she relocated to Australia to take up a position as an Internal Medicine Clinician at NSVH. She is registered as a AVBC (Australasian Veterinary Boards Council) Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist.

Raquel is passionate about all aspects of internal medicine, with particular interest in haematology and endocrinology. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, exploring nature, and practising yoga.
