Dr Sean Wood

Sean grew up on Sydney’s North Shore before obtaining his veterinary degree from Massey University in New Zealand in 2018. Following graduation, he completed rotating and surgical internships at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in Brisbane.

In pursuit of advanced surgical training, Sean relocated to Perth in 2022 to commence a surgical traineeship followed by a residency in small animal surgery at Murdoch University. During this time, he also completed a research masters by thesis publication investigating venous pressure changes during liver and splenic surgery, a clinical masters, and a tertiary qualification in adult education.

Sean is delighted to return home to care for the pets of Sydney’s North Shore. His clinical interests include wound management, soft tissue surgery, and orthopaedics.
