Dr. Yuh-Ru(Hoy) Lin is originally from Taiwan, where she obtained her first veterinary degree at National Chung-Hsing University in Taiwan in 2007. She then obtained a vet degree at the University of Melbourne in 2012.
After graduating, she went to China to work for an animal rescue for 6 months, then relocated to South Australia for 3 years and has also locumed in the UK for 1 year. She worked as an emergency vet for 2 and a half years in Sydney before starting with North Shore Specialist Veterinary Hospital as a surgery intern.
All her life she has been passionate about animals and their welfare, and becoming a veterinarian was her dream. She has a thirst for knowledge and is always working towards broadening and strengthening her veterinary skills on topics of interest to her, specifically surgery.
Hoy has a pet chicken and loves gardening and spending time at the beach, travelling, and spending quality time with her wonderful family and friends.
