Registrar in Small Animal Surgery
Alen graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008 with first class honours. After graduation he worked in general practice for four years before joining the University of Sydney Veterinary Teaching Hospital to complete a rotating internship. He has a special interest in small animal surgery and has since moved to North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre to work under the supervision of Dr John Culvenor and Dr Craig Bailey.
Alen achieved Membership of the Australian Collage of Veterinary Scientist in Small animal Surgery by examination in 2013, and achieved the Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Studies in the same year.
Alen has moved to Sydney with his wife who works in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a midwife, and their cat ‘Poppy’ who meows and begs for food all day long. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and checking out restaurants for good food.
