NSVSC is staffed with an incredible team of emergency veterinarians, nurses, and support personnel to ensure your pet gets the care it requires.

Dr. Alanna Logan - BVSc

Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian

Alanna graduated from Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney in 2010 and started working as a Vet at North Shore Veterinary Hospital in 2011. One year after joining the North Shore Veterinary day team she found her calling as a full time emergency Vet, working the night shift three days a week. Alanna has been doing this ever since and thoroughly enjoys being able to provide emergency veterinary care and advice for animals and their people all over Sydney (and the occasional phone call from Western Australia!) no matter what the time. Alanna also finds being able to provide care for our hospital patients all through the night so rewarding and makes their hospital stay as comfortable as it can be. Not to mention being there to do any emergency blood tests, x-rays or other treatments as needed if their condition changes.

Dr. Tim Crisp - BVSc MRCVS

Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian

Tim is a born and bred Sydneysider, and attended the University of Sydney. He has practiced extensively in the United Kingdom and throughout New South Wales. His current interests is in emergency and critical care. He has two dogs, Ellie and Murray, and an outdoor aviary of finches and parrots.

Dr. Hana Ogawa

Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian

Hana graduated from Veterinary Medicine in Japan where she practiced as a small animal vet for three and a half years before moving to Australia. Once here she studied English, travelled, played cowgirl at a rural farm, taught Japanese at primary schools, and found herself in love with the lifestyle Australia offered.

For several years Hana worked at North Shore Vet as an emergency nurse while she obtained permanent residency and studied to obtain her Australian Veterinary License (along with a Master’s degree in accounting – just because!).

Now Hana works at North Shore as an emergency vet and finds joy in helping worried owners, sick pets, and referring vets at odd hours. Her primary interests are in emergency medicine and hospice palliative care.

In her free time Hana enjoys browsing markets, gardening, dancing, exploring Sydney’s beautiful beaches, and photography.
